Power Dynamos Football Club has clinched the 2024/2025 MTN-sponsored Zambian Super League title, marking their eighth championship win.

The decisive victory came in a tense Week 33 match against Green Eagles, which ended 1-0, igniting celebrations among the home fans.

Head Coach, Osward Mutapa, made strategic substitutions, bringing in Brian Masanyinga, Austin Muwowo, and Beby Musangala, who energised the team and contributed to the win.

Despite a missed penalty by Titus Chansa, Prince Mumba earned another penalty in extra time, which Masanyinga converted, securing the championship.

Speaking after the historic moment in his career, Mutapa expressed pride in his team’s resilience and fighting spirit throughout the match.

Power Dynamos will celebrate their title win at a coronation ceremony after their final game against Nchanga Rangers in Chingola.
